Building your app
Vibe coding
Vibe coding is describing an app in plain words and letting a tool write the code, which gets it built but cannot tell you if anyone needs it.
Also called vibecoding
It can put a working app in front of you fast. It cannot tell you whether people want it, whether your price is right, or whether the code is safe. Those answers come from real users and a careful look at logins and data rules.
When this shows up
Example, not a real founder: you build a full habit tracker in a weekend and share it widely. A few people sign up and none come back. Building was never the hard part; nobody had checked that the problem was one people act on.
What to do next
Before your next build session, write the one assumption your app depends on, and the smallest test that could prove it wrong.
