MVP Scoper

Stop adding features. Here's the one thing you need to prove this works.

what it decides

Cuts to the one loop that proves the thing.

What you get
the scope
The core loop your MVP must prove, named, with everything outside it marked cut.
the risk
The one assumption baked into your MVP that kills the build if it's wrong.

what they asked

“A first-time founder, still employed, non-technical, solo. Six years running a physiotherapy clinic front desk; building a practice management app for solo physiotherapists with a ten-feature list (booking, calendar sync, intake forms, SOAP notes, invoicing, payments, SMS reminders, client portal, exercise library, telehealth). FAQ

Should I validate the idea before scoping it?

If you have not pressure-tested the idea at all, start with Idea Validator. Scope assumes there is a hypothesis worth testing; validation asks whether there is.

What if the scoped MVP still feels like too much work?

That is signal, not failure. Either the hypothesis is too big and needs cutting again, or the build needs help. Do not shrink the test below the point where it proves anything just to hit a date.

Does the scope change if I get a cofounder?

Yes. More hands compress the timeline and tempt over-building in equal measure. Re-run the scope whenever the team or the hypothesis changes.
